Aside from that, the episode wasn't particularly bad, tho, I'm annoyed that Vegeta's rooting for the Jelly Vegeta. He's starting to get unhealthily obssessed with beating Kakarotto again...

He doesn't have anybody to train with, he'd just be gravity machining it like Vegeta and that seems to have it's limits. Plus he thinks ssj2 is Gohan's hidden power and he doesn't have the experience of Goku and Vegeta (he's green lol) to find it for himself.

To be honest, if anyone's gonna get extremely strong through training, it's Trunks. He knows that each of Earth's Protectors in his timeline died because they weren't strong enough to combat the Androids, so he'd work towards ensuring that he's strong enough to defend the Earth against any threat. Plus, he's a half-breed, unbelievable potential (except maybe not).

The second time they'd have made the same gains since they stayed in the same placements.

We'll see in the next half of the year, but I'm confident now it may have been filler. To be an actual story plot would have been re... tarded.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Hokuto no Ken, Berserk, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, Kuroshitsuji	Is it safe to conclude that Piccolo will be having no role to play in this upcoming arc? I mean nothing credible or significant has been shown surrounding his actions. He hasn't been in the limelight for awhile now, and apart from the babysitting duties with Pan, I don't recall him staging many appearances. Goku's condescending remark about his "meagre" power with no rebuttal offered to contradict it implies that he hasn't made any progress with his training since the tournament. There's irony to this situation because the one major arc Future Trunks played a role in saw Piccolo reaching his prime in the narrative before sliding back down to a weaker yet still respectable support role at the Cell Games. I suppose the same event won't happen twice now that this version of Trunks is returning. In fact, no one appears to be making any inroads for eminence. Gohan is trapped in a state of quasi-limbo with an expressed desire to improve himself to protect his family yet his progress hasn't been addressed at all since the beginning of the U6 tournament arc. Aside from him, I believe it's fairly safe to say that Gotenks is a lost cause. We don't even know if the kids train anymore. Future Trunks has become the biggest hope for a next generation fighter who can stand alongside Goku and Vegeta since the revelation that this next arc would be revolving around him.
